Middle School girls are dropping out of sports at twice the rate of boys. Many girls drop out because they don't believe they'll have the opportunity to compete in high school. At the She Can Play event, parents got the inside scoop on the many athletic opportunities for girls from Edina High School Administrators and Coaches. This informative and insightful evening was made possible due to the generosity of our partner The Riveter and dozens of EHS coaches and administrators.
We love TrackGirlz and everything they are doing to empower young women through sisterhood and fitness. Founder and Olympian Mechelle Freeman led nearly 75 girls through an inspiring day of pilates, soccer and of course running! Her Next Play joined in and led interactive empowerment sessions to teach girls the importance of body language and how to communicate with confidence.
Congratulations to all the powerful athletes that completed this year’s Physical Culture Triathlon. This community event celebrated Physical Cultures's Community and raised funds in support of Her Next Play. Together we are building the next generation of women leaders!
